Picked up an SLR106 recently after selling my AR. I really like it a lot. I like the triangle folder so much that I am going to have one put on my SGL21. lol

I like the looks of that SLR106. What do you think of the 5.56 in the AK (feel et cetera)

I haven't been able to shoot it yet, just got it about 1.5 weeks ago. Will be shooting it this Saturday.
As far as handling it without shooting it, I like it a lot. Amazing how much weight the 5.56 round takes off the rifles when compared to 7.62. I also love the triangle folder, it's my first gun with one. I like it so much I will be having one put on my SGL21. I already ordered the folder, trunnion, latch parts, rivets, and reinforcement plate.
Edit: Shot it yesterday and basically it is my new favorite rifle. Coming from an AR, I obviously knew how the 5.56 round feels, but it's more magical in an AK(maybe I am a little biased here since I prefer the AK platform lol). Follow up shots are easier to get on target than with the SGL21 and as a result it is much easier to accurately shoot on the move. Plus, I enjoy the vast amount of different rounds available for 5.56 compared to 7.62x39.

this is mine, but i have a long way to go before it is up to par...its a bulgarian 74 kit converted to 47 when there was a rush for these rifles about a year ago. i have to say the guy that sells these did a great job, brand new chrome lined barrel, and the sights were almost set up for me already...i plan on doing a lot more to it before its over, but for now the plain jane furniture is good enough... I actually set my AK's up with the plain jane furniture.
All you need to do is add a ultimak upper hand guard add optic and light, and you are ready to go!

Ivarr Bergmann; What is that Bergan? It's DPM but I can't see it clear enough to PID. And is that an Arktis rig?
