I don't know if this classifies as a "fighting" rifle, however, this summer, I have slowly been assembling my very first bolt action hunting/scout rifle: Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD, 20" threaded barrel with Vltor .30 cal flash suppressor. It is riding in a Manners T4 stock with Badger Ordnance Mini Chassis, 20 MOA base and Maximized rings. I also added an Atlas Picatinny Rail under the for end, and an Atlas QD bipod. Glass is Leupold Mk IV MRT 2.5-8, which I removed from my M1A.

Copying 4track and posting my R700. It's running on an Accuracy International chassis system with a Leupold Mark 4 LRT M3 10x on Leupold rings and a Harris bipod.

Looks like a very nice precision shooter!
Is your 700 a short action of long action? (It is hard for me to tell from the picture)
Also, your scope is a fixed 10x, right? What reticle are you using in it.

It's a .308, so short action. Yeah, the scope is fixed 10x with a mil-dot reticle. I kicked around the idea of adjustable magnification, but decided that I probably wouldn't use the feature.
I don't shoot it nearly as much as my AR and AK, but it is a great rife.

Yes, in my case. Expensive proposition so I am using one and saving the others.

I am new to bolt action rifles, so I am still learning how I am going to manage my ammunition.
However, I do currently have one spare 5 round magazine, and I also top load individual cartridges from a loose ammo pouches on my back pack.
FYI, the AI magazines themselves cannot be top loaded from the breach of the weapon (like M14 magazines can) but they do allow the shooter to top load single shots into the chamber.
I have ordered a 5 round AI mag MOLLE pouch from Triad Tactical that I plan to attach to my bat belt.
The ten round AI magazines seem a bit large for my purposes.

You guys keeping spare mags for your tactical bolt actions? I only have 3 5 round mags. I will get more eventually, but lately I have been trying to spend more money on AK mags, AR mags, and ammo. I figure the likelihood of legislation against 5 round mags for bolt actions is extremely low, so I prioritized it last.

Sweet an ACR! Many questions:
What mystery caliber? Looks like rock in mags(where did you get that lower?) 5.45? Barrel length? Suppressor and mount? is that an adjustable gas plug? what does it weigh in at? Have you used it in any classes?
I saw one run in a Tactical Carbine class I took last year, seemed to run good but the sights seemed to sit higher than an AR when we moved in at close range.

Thanks, i'm sorry to disapoint you, its an Airsoft (6mm caliber). Its weighs about 5kg (including eotech, magnifier, etc) Yes the gas-plug is adjustable, but doesn't do anything. I had the pleasure using it at many events, and it has an awesome handling-

...its an Airsoft (6mm caliber)...5kg...awesome handling...blah, blah, blah... Um...what? Unless this is a force-on-force training substitute for your real ACR...who really cares? No offense, but this is supposed to be about "Other FIGHTING Rifles", not "Other TOYS in My Mom's Basement".

In my opinion its not a toy, it's a piece of sport equipment. And I'm not doing this in my basement, or whereever. I'm doing this sport everywhere in the country, where at fighting-events are happening. And if you don't care, you can ignore it

In my opinion its not a toy...I'm doing this...at fighting-events are happening. What, in your opinion, are "fighting events"...kids dressing up and pelting each other with plastic balls at close range for fun? That sounds more like Toys and Games, to me...not serious training for actual gun fights. As I said, if this were a duplicate training tool for your actual carbine of the same make, used for force-on-force, then I would fully understand...but it clearly is not. ...And if you don't care, you can ignore it Don't worry, I will. Thanks for sharing, though.
