What, in your opinion, are "fighting events"...kids dressing up and pelting each other with plastic balls at close range for fun? No this sounds boring to me, i only go to milsim events. Means: being 3 days in the woods with 2000 other players which are completely equipped in an area about 20 square kilometers. And by the way, at these events there are no kids

In my opinion its not a toy, it's a piece of sport equipment. And I'm not doing this in my basement, or whereever. I'm doing this sport everywhere in the country, where at fighting-events are happening. And if you don't care, you can ignore it Warren, I advise you confine Airsoft training rigs to the Airsoft thread. The rest of the site is devoted to - and concerned with - the use of real tactics, real weapons and real situations. That's a nice airsoft rifle, but it does not belong in this thread. Thank you for understanding.

Ok, here's the deal. The whole concept of this site is about exploring the T,T,&P's of armed citizens responding to a violent encounter, be it your basic criminal activity, or your more organized government variety. The only way airsoft equipment fits into this discussion is in the realm of training tools, as previously stated. It does not belong in any real weapons thread, period.
Our house, our rules. We don't have to ignore it, we'll just toss it off the site if necessary so we don't have to look at it.
I guess you just can't say this enough. We are not about hobbies, sport, competition, or any other fantasy games. What we are about is actual fighting T,T,&P's, as they relate to our specific terrain and situation. I can understand the confusion, as most sites neglect to make this distinction, and therefor the discussions can be rather wide-ranging into whatever facet of firearms use the writer may be into.
We try and keep a laser-like focus here however. Reality-based weapons, equipment, and most importantly training. Within this context, we see a use for airsoft as a training tool, much like a rubber training knife, but contain such things to the training threads, not here.

And I'm sorry if I offended someone with this picture, I just didn't thought it't such a big deal.

Ugh, one day... Btw, is that a TT MAV split-front you've got on that low? Looks like it rides pretty well in belt rig mode.

Good eye. It is an old TT split-MAV that has been customized over the years. I am an old dog now, and grew up on ALICE gear. As MOLLE became popular I upgraded, but prefer to wear my rig low...as I did with the ALICE rigs. Soon I will do a full review of this rig and the loadout inside. I'll make sure that gets posted over on the applicable gear section.

Looks G2G, like I'm an authority. I guess you don't have a problem with all those mags up front, like some people do...
