Forgive my ignorance, but what in the world is that optic? A picatinny death Ray?

Forgive my ignorance, but what in the world is that optic? A picatinny death Ray? Looks like a thermal or night vision optic. Its probably set-up for coyotes or hogs.

Forgive my ignorance, but what in the world is that optic? A picatinny death Ray? Its a Raytheon W1000-9 Thermal optic. And yes, it is pretty much used for hog/coyote hunting.

What range does that thing work out to, for hogs/coyotes?

What range does that thing work out to, for hogs/coyotes? Whatever it is zeroed at. We have it zeroed at 100 yards. But that can be pushed out to any distance. Max recommended range for this optic is 1,000 yards for man, 2,500 yards for vehicles.

Not bad at all then. I figured it looked like a bit of kit that might manage some distance, given the sheer size of the thing....
