Update.
I just put in one of the Wolff springs I got this week into my primary rifle and let me tell you these springs are no joke.
it was sufficiently stiff to turn a routine installation into an effort.
usually I can just when I install hammers with their springs handjam it but that was much harder to do with this spring Even busted my thumb a bit before I decided to go "best practices" and use a guide.
Also of course put in the Xtreme precision enhanced firing pin.
This FP is a bit, but a noticable bit, longer than the standard FP that I had in there.. what was in there was still a fairly new and a recent quality replacement itself.
Tommorrow I will go and test the ammo on my SIG 516 (one of a minority of ARs that I have, that still has a stock trigger) and then on this enhanced rifle.

Update;
Ammo is still sold out ..then back again in stock ...on and off.
Signs point to some folks buying huge stocks because its sold out so quick.
Saturday had 60 cases in stock Sunday morning zero.
On this note I trained with it on Saturday and had once again zero malfunctions in my trainer that has enhanced firing pin and Wolff Hammer spring.

do you think this will this work in a 5.56 AK? I know knowing about how commercial AKs are sprung in this country. firing pin protrusion is higher in AKs out of the box than in AR which is apostive. If I were to speculate I'd guess ( and thats all it would be!) a spring upgrade should make it fucntion. BUT I know nothing about what springs are available and feel really uncomfortable specualting. I do not wish to recommend anything to anyone on this board where I dont personally know to make it work. But I simply have no data so I cannot recommend it w/o data. Also I have a feeling the window on this ammo is closing soon. Last time it was in stock it sold out in a few hours. So when its back we need to act quickly but again I cannot recommend it for AK w/o a known (to me) path to 100% function.

Quick question will the enhanced (longer) firing pin still work with regular primers from other manufacturers? Or will you pierce the softer primers??? this would be no bueno if you forgot to swap out pin or BCG.

Quick question will the enhanced (longer) firing pin still work with regular primers from other manufacturers? Or will you pierce the softer primers??? this would be no bueno if you forgot to swap out pin or BCG. I have tested the Xtreme precision FP on much normal ammo with no pierced primers. The slightly more extreme RedX Arms FP juts out more and I have not tested it ....but others have reported no issues on the RedX FP.. But this is 2nd hand and I cannot vouch for no pierced primers on that particular FP since I have not tested it myself. But through my own testing on 2 different kinds of brass 556 and two other steel case brands of 223 ammo with normal US market spec soft primers that the Extreme Precision is safe for normal primers. PS: Edited for clarity.

Back in-stock, going very quickly!
Well, I've got a case on the way, and one of the recommended firing pins, too. Since I've seen reviews stating just a firing pin swap is enough to get consistently high reliability, I'll hold off on getting the extra power spring. I'll do a with and without the enhanced firing pin test, once the stuff arrives and I get an opportunity to get to the range.
