A 5.56 AK from PSA and have Magpul make a solid cheaper mag for it and I would be in for one in a heart beat!
Or better yet, just a successful AK that takes the Pmags and be all set.

Word on the street is that PSA will release its AK in about 45 days.

The AK market is blowing up. RD is now offering a "good to go" AK right out of the box for a pretty reasonable price, considering: rifledynamics.com/products/rd-m01Clearly there is a demand out there for a good reliable rifle out fo the box with no drama (canted sights, etc.) that shoots the affordable 762x39. I think ARs may have priced themselves out of the game. that said, if you are an AK guy (or like me, thinking about becoming an AK guy) I would buy ammo now, as the increased demand may drive prices slightly higher in the long run.

Ar's priced out of the game? An equally equipped Colt M4 can be had for about $850. That bare bones AK is $1600 with a 6 month wait time?

Not talking about the rifle itself, talking ammunition cost, which is only going up. ARs are widely available, the market is saturated. Youre right as far as parts availability.

Price for equivalent make and quality of ammo is running just about same, for 5.56x45 vs. 7.62x39, as of right now...
