Wow, thanks. Let me know if I can send you something in return. I'm pretty good with med supplies I'll let you know if I can think of something, but I'm stuck in the UK for now, and I don't really need any... I'll bear it in mind for the future though

Fun thread. Yeah there is definitely some truth to the statement that Brits have an extra-appreciation for basic kit, because they have learned how to make-do with so little at times. But the irony is that they are so much better with what they have because of it. We oftentimes are so rich in supplies that we don't appreciate this fact. When you are on you own, and basically scavenging in the field, with the next re-supply questionable, you learn to be much more self-sufficient. If you think this might resemble something you would see, then take a look at their T,T,P's.
I would not hesitate to buy from ebay again because these dealers are vetted and not going to screw you over. The airmail can be a lot, but then the base prices are so low to start with. I think it evens out. You can even request surface mail if you want to save more money and are willing to wait.
As I now look at MC/MC tropic as replacements for my woodland, the MTP is also a good alternative to examine as well. Really love those Canadian buttons!
As an alternative, there is a Canadian dealer on ebay if you want lower shipping costs. His prices are slightly higher but he's on the same continent. So there you are.
