I thought it would be a good idea to hang some Syrian and Ukrainian War vids here. They show a form of conflict with mixed type of forces are fighitngeach other.
Examples are irregulars vs professional military vs half way in between (such as Ukr volunteer battalions on either side, Hezbollah militias, Al Nusra Front etc) I think its interesting to watch these vids even if they are "managed" by thier respective PR departments.
Lets start with one w/ a SAA (Syrian Arab Army) QRF responding to rebel activity along a major hiway. Observe civilian traffic still flowing among the armored vehicles as the firefight unfolds. (The narration is not arabic but russian. like from ANNA ( Abkhazian News network)
For those who have never seen MBT live fire in dry terrain the resulting dust cloud makes the crew essentially blind for a moment. (hint: there will be a test on this sometime)

Latkia province. From the outfits likely rebels.. but I am willing ot be corrected, maybe its a pro-regime militia.. but even the pro Assad militas I think are better geared.

Please post some of the most interesting vids you like on here. Anything that seems relevant for the Operational Concept of an Insurgency or Irregular Forces in general.
