Found this at JTT...Check it out jerkingthetrigger.com/2015/07/24/vortex-optics-contact-us/I can say that I have 5 Vortex items and am very pleased. I have needed their services once and had excellent customer service. Now I'm not a HSLD tier one operator, but the items I have do me very well as a LSHD AC. People complain about Made in China, but a lot depends on the quality of the China factory and quality control. For now, I plan on buying more optics from them.

The relative newcomers to the scene. I have one of their scopes, it has been very good for me. It won't be my last!

I was looking hard at one of their Razor HD 1-6x24 Gen1 'scopes. Then those were discontinued in favor of the Gen2. Oh well.
Still, I've heard mostly good things about their line. And their Solo R/T 8x monocular generally gets pretty rave reviews. It's on my shortlist for lightweight observation optics.

I had a SPARC fail at a rifle class in 2013. It was raining and somewhat cool but the rifle was warm. I had also taken a little spill down the side of a hill and figured a seal failed inside of the optic. Vortex did the warranty work on it and returned it in something like 7-10 business days. It works fine to this day.

I have a few Vortex, and so far I really like them. Razor Red Dot — 3 MOA Dot Viper PST 1-4x2 Both are light and rugged and have served well so far but I haven't shot either past 200yds. The 1-4 took some getting used to, but I like it well enough now. Nice to have that Vortex VIP Warranty too.

Going to take a wild guess and say you're a FDE guy. I knew you had good taste.

I also want to plug Primary Arms here. Good value and construction. The AK47/74 Operators Union channel on YouTube has done quite a few torture tests on the red dots.

I've talked to the guys there before. They really go out of their way to make the Chinese put a better red dot together.

You know, i have looked at (online) the PA offerings and they look intriguing. I have seen the torture tests and think they are made well. Two things that keep me going back to Vortex is; 1. My local gun stores carry the Vortex and can get me really good prices. and 2. The warranty Vortex offers. Last time I looked at the PA stuff, they don't offer the lifetime, no questions asked warranty.

I have a Primary Arms AA red dot, not the multi reticle version. I really like it and the guys at PA were really patient with me as I bugged them with questions about it before I ordered. I chose that red dot because I couldn't afford an Aimpoint and wanted one that uses AA. Haven't had any problems at all with mine, spray painted it to match my rifle too.

Sorry my response wasn't terribly timely. Don't want to hijack the thread , but I will tell you the Tavor beats the hell out of the FN FS2000 I had. It's completely stock, except a Geisselle trigger swap.
