Any interest in this? Bit more compact than a standard Minuteman... slimmed down to 3 mags, and 2 columns of Molle webbing per side.

As much as I like the three mag set-up I would want more than 2 columns of webbing per side. Even the standard Minuteman rig was almost too few columns for what I like to carry with me. Now I realize that this is a minimalist rig, but just some things I like to always carry. Whenever I use a chest rig I want to always have a blowout kit, knife, and drop bag. The smallest BOK I know of is the HSGI Bleeder pouch I use (thanks to JTT). I guess I could always carry a pocket knife and do away with a drop bag as it is only three mags plus one in the weapon. Just my 2 pennies.

Could this be an option for smaller statured folks?

Could this be an option for smaller statured folks? That is exactly one of a couple of thoughts we had. Another being, a smaller, lighter, grab and go rig, vehicle rig, etc...

What about a "bump in the night rig" with same two columns of webbing but with two rifle mag holders and a universal pistol holder in place of the third mag holder? Using the quiet flap that you all have to keep the pistol in place. A bleeder kit could still be attached as well as a defensive knife.

Got something along those lines that I'm fixing to post.... On home defense/bump in the night stuff, I like to keep it as simple as possible.

I like that design a lot! There is nothing that I need on a chest rig that I can't mount on 2 columns of MOLLE. There are plenty of slim IFAK pouches that will fit.
3 or 4 magazines seems to be a magic number for AK mags. Any wider than that and they can become difficult to retrieve from pouches due to the curvature of the mags. At least that is the case for me (I tend to wear my rigs very high).
With the great UW Gear H Harness and the slim profile of this rig, it seems like it would be perfect for use with a backpack.

We're going to go ahead with these, and basically add them to, and expand the line up. Our rigs will now be available in either a 3 or 4 mag configuration, with either 2 or 3 columns of molle webbing on each side, or, no webbing at all.

Awesome news! I really like this more compact form factor.
Giving people options on the webbing layout is really going to set you apart from other makers.
