Anyone have a solution for getting rid of the shine from rounds viewable through Pmag Windows?
Got my two new mags in but they sent me windowed ones by mistake. Figured ah what the hell, loaded it up to see if I liked it, then I noticed the shine from the rounds.... Obviously this is not a concern for most people who own Pmags, but for our purposes (grid down chaos), shine isn't good. Just wondering if anyone had a solution that would leave the window but reduce/remove shine.

Try to sand by hand the see through window. You got a little bit of a deal. Window pmags are a bit more.

Go outside and use them. That shine will wear off. All the PMAGs in the Armoury here are dull from being used

i'd try and scuff them up a bit with a scotchbrite pad or fine sandpaper.

I have found that the windows get hard to see thru after a little use. Krylon will help reduce it quicker.

smear some face paint on it..might stain it to a subdued tone but still allow you to see through a bit it close in. If it doesn't you can wipe it off later and the window can be of use in non-tactical situations..
