I have a Geissele Super Modular Mark I Rail on one of my rifles and am looking for the rail attachments to mount picatinny rail panels IOT have a sling attachment. Havent been able to find any..  What I need is this: dsgarms.com/gat05-255sBut any picatinny rail that fits a Geisselle Mk1 will do in a pinch Anyone have a link handy? Cheers. Erick  |

MAC did a video about MLOK/Keymod compatible Picatinny rails. VTAC sling mount looks better for your sling dilemma, but these will let you do stuff with other gear (lights, lasers etc) that will clip on and off any rifle you need them to and from the video and testing they appear to be pretty sturdy. kineticdg.com/product-category/kinect/ video on youtube (first five minutes) |

I got a Magpul version of this yesterday. Just installed and loctited ,.. works great! The Geissele Solution I had bought a couple months ago did not fit the Mk 1 rail ..  This is just in time to bring this rifle online as my primary since my LWRCi M6 barrel is shot out again. |

What has been your experience? I've only managed to shoot out an old BCM standard in my life, and it was probably still ok for another 5k. |

What has been your experience? I've only managed to shoot out an old BCM standard in my life, and it was probably still ok for another 5k. I consider a modern 4150 milspec barrel that is not used excessively hard, good for maybe 20k rounds. My expectation for a CHF NiCorr barrel would be higher. I do shoot ammo (steel case w/ bi metal bullets) which is reputed to wear on a barrel at double the normal rate. And my first barrel replacement bears that out ...it was replaced at approx 10,000 - 11,000 rounds of mostly steel (and some of it fired at a furious pace filling the SPF role during some training events). However this last barrel was different and it shot mostly brass M193 style ammo but some steel as well. Since LWRC is currently checking it out I will withhold reporting on number of rounds fired |
