Open ground = big target.... Do you know how to make a makeshift litter? Here is a site I pulled up for you if you don't. It was a good reminder for me as I had forgot about using two jackets for a litter. prepography.com/improvised-litter-construction/

Open ground = big target.... Do you know how to make a makeshift litter? Here is a site I pulled up for you if you don't. It was a good reminder for me as I had forgot about using two jackets for a litter. prepography.com/improvised-litter-construction/Add to that a poncho & rocks - twist the edge of the poncho round a rock and you have handles. A big 'in fashion' favourite for a while was to carry 2 plasticuffs looped on themselves, pre-prepared. together. If you get hit, 2 guys can use them and drag you like a sled (one over each arm). It's not pretty, but it worked well enough for it to catch on as a 'good idea', and it's a lot less faff. Definitely worth knowing this stuff, but don't forget good old methods of carry! (firemans - which is MASSIVELY more obtainable if you're fighting with guerilla style weight/equipment levels versus ECM, mortars and christ knows what else. Drags etc. I don't know if the FM's have this stuff in but it'd be a good link where they get it right, in my opinion, if they do...)
