I'm going to add thoughts to this as they come to me. Meant to put this up a long time ago and have been remiss in not doing it. I have taken a lot of training/classes over the years with a number of different instructors. There are some things that I have picked up along the way through all that training. First and foremost - avoid any instructor who says that what he is teaching/his way is the ONLY way to do something, be it directly said or implied. There is usually more than one acceptable way to accomplish things. I'll list thoughts below as they come to me. This will be an ongoing/growing list. - Research as much as possible the instructor's background and what he's teaching, and make sure its relevant and appropriate to what YOU are wanting to accomplish.
- Been there, done that...... Been where and done what? Did they do it right or were they just lucky? Could it have been done better? Could it have been done differently with equal or better results?
