I just picked up a New Springfield XDs yesterday evening.
It s is a single stack .45 ACP, The grip in my hand is fantastic and the feel of it makes me confident in the purchase of the gun.
I was able to pick up two box's of AE ammo and plan on taking to the range this weekend.
I bought this with the purpose of being a tshirt weather gun on hot days.
I have heard some horror stories people hav ehad, but mine is new this year.
I will get some new pic's up as soon as I can!

**UPDATE**
I was able to take it to a friends house and go bust some jugs filled with water with my new XDs!
I shot 50 rounds of AE ammo, it performed with no problem.
I was able to hit my targets at will and the recoil was nowhere near what I expected.
All ammo fed just fine, no light strikes, no FTE or FTF just 100% functional.
I will put another 50 rounds through it soon.

Anyone have an experiences with the XDs in 9mm? Thinking about upgrading from my current pistol but a major thing that keeps me with my current carry pistol is the ambidextrous magazine release, I've tried training the pointer or middle finger mag release as a lefty and I can do it but I just hate it with a passion. Seems like the XDs has a ambidextrous mag release though and that's a big plus. I carry IWB most of the time at the 8 o'clock position, but I alternate between that and pocket carrying (gym shorts) or an OWB holster for different situations.
