The AUG is definitely svelte. Good to know that the 42rd mags work prone; I was wondering that recently.
Have you gone through any classes with it yet?
Also, any pics of your setup?

I was able to put hands on several AUG A3 variations at the 2012 Bullpup Shoot and they are definitely impressive.

I handled one once...a Microtec clone, I believe...and I really liked its compact size, ergonomics and smooth profile.
Unfortunately, however, being a left hander, most bull pups are a no-go for me.
Also, I do not like the fact that there is no true trigger guard on the AUG, and its variants.

Good point on the aftermarket grendal. The Bullpup Shoot had an fair amount of diversity in terms of AUG/MSAR products. I was able to handle this bad boy at the Manticore Arms booth... That rifle with that optic was an incredible match and the optic mount from Manticore Arms made everything feel seamless.
