A-TACS FG has so far proven to be a good seller for us. Its popularity seems to be growing pretty nicely. I'm wondering, what do you folks think. Would there be enough interest in the A-TACS AU pattern for us to start offering that as well? Any of you folks out in the more arid regions interested?

A-TACS AU is definitely targeted toward arid environments but I have found that it has enough medium to dark browns in it to be pretty versatile.

Just got a couple of combat shirts and boonie hats in the AU pattern and they look great! There are even traces of greens in it to adapt to a multitude of environments from urban to arid. This is a very versatile pattern!

This might sound stupid but I would characterize the ATACS-FG as a lot of greens with shades of brown and the ATACS-AU with a lot of browns with speckles of greens ... In my opinion, the FG looks like a "camo" pattern with multiple shades and colors while the AU is more of a subtle blend of a couple of similar colors ... I don't know if it helps, but that's the best that I can do to describe it because it seems like the pictures that are out of each pattern, is not completely accurate until you actually see it first hand. I will say this though that both patterns are phenominal advancements in concealment apparel!
