I'm one of those guys that always has some sort of med gear on him. It may be a TQ, an ankle med kit, or a pocket kit. I recently picked up these two med kits (Boo-boo kits) from an Etsy seller and they are really well thought out prepackaged kits. This is the kind of med gear we all use day in and day out. www.etsy.com/shop/EnduranceSustainment?ref=shop_sugg_marketThe smaller one fits in a single mag pouch and in a pant pocket while the larger one will fit in a double mag pouch (with room to spare) and in a cargo pocket on BDU pants. I'm not affiliated with them in anyway besides just being a fan of the product...

I believe those will be far more important and useful in a full grid down situation than TQ’s and chest seals.

But what if I get a sucking chest wound from a splinter?

But what if I get a sucking chest wound from a splinter? Well the packaging, with some tape, could definitely be used to create chest seal ...

So, my two cents is these will be used more often and be very helpful. More "important" then chest seals and TQs? Well, that would depend on your injury, LOL...Having a LOT of bandaids, small dressings/bandages, wrist splints, Ace bandages, antibiotic ointments, and the list could go on and on, for the boo-boos will be very important. Everyone has their oral antibiotics correct? Maybe I should make a post on oral stuff? A deep puncture wound may not respond to topical antibiotic creams, but an oral antibiotic would help.

so now is the time to get them. shtfsource.com still has them. I have met the owner and reached out to him a while back when the news about animal stuff being pulled from OTC. He said that was geared to the larger animals, dogs, cats, and farm animals. So, this new push now to removing fish antibiotics is another grab to take away resources from 'We The People'.
I will write and post an article in the coming week for a resource.
Edit: I reached out to the owner of shtfsource once again to see if he has any inside scoop on that link. I will get back to everyone on the reply.

Some of the sites I've been watching and buying from now have them back up for sale. I see, "*not for human consumption" added now, can't recall if it was there before or not.
