Okay, since this board has been revived from the dead (thanks Hawkeye) I have to mention TQ. If you are not carrying one on your gear then you better find one and get it on your gear in a place where it can be reached with both hands easily. This may sound like, DUH, PSD of course. But in my classes I have seen where the person thought it was accessible with both hands until he actually geared up and found out otherwise. Don't just attach to your rig and ASSume it is in the right place because it looks good while you look at yourself in the mirror. You have to get prone, supine, squatting, standing, and sitting, hiding behind a tree or a log without showing any part of your body while you get to it. Remember, if you are having to use it, you have had a bad day, so adding the stress of "can I get to my TQ" should not be on your mind.
Lots of people like to practice just standing and placing their TQ with dominate hand, but you need to practice with non-dominate hand as well from various positions. Then when you think you have it, go for a run and get the heart rate up and do it some more. Then when you are proficient do it in the dark.
Remember, you may be your first "care provider", so you need to take some of this medical stuff seriously. Your team medic may not be able to get to you and you won't have a C-130 gunship overhead.
Uh, you do have multiple TQ's accessible? You are not guaranteed that you won't be shot more then once....
