Might have some relevance under a future administration...I'll let readers use their imagination

Thanks for sharing - interesting ideas!
While we can earnestly hope to never have to face armored vehicles - that's not the way to bet! Considering the number of armored vehicles both tracked and wheeled that are in inventory around the country, we'll likely run into some.
These ideas are easily transferable to wheeled vehicles like MRAPs, Strykers and armored Hummers.
Although it's slightly dated, "David's Tool Kit" by Benson is also worth a look.

Ulf,
yes the versatility of these techniques that lend themselves to threats other than tanks piqued my interest as well ..

Mines will probably be few and far between and fuel may be in short supply or nonexistent but, there are alternatives.
Tank traps and vehicle barriers around fixed positions will be useful if properly sited and either guarded or at least kept under observation.

I liked the molotov cocktail and some of the other methods suck as smoke...Both are widely available to us.... Modern (lightly armored wheeled vehicles are probably broadly comparable to early War tracked vehicles in amour protection (though they are likely better in visibility)

Agreed - the Jerry can with stick grenade had a certain panache!
Smoke and molotovs would work - as would IEDs.
Run flat tires are standard so it will take some effort to make a mobility kill.

Seeing as more and more NG and Reserve units are getting MRAPs and uparmored HMMWVs, and these vehicles tend to be left in lots with only a cable lock around the steering wheel as security for the vehicle itself, it's not only .Gov that could have armored vehicles. I'll have to watch the vid when I get a moment. Water balloons filled with paint has always been a favorite of mine Edit: I kid you not, my unit had a small fleet of non-armored ambulances and HMMWVs (armored and non armored) literally just sitting in a lot in a downtown area with the perimeter security being a lone chain-link fence around it, no guards or anything.....

There are plenty of stories of British squaddies in Germany (in the UK too... but mostly Germany...) Coming in off the piss and just 'borrowing' armoured vehicles because.... why not?
I remember it being in the forces paper once about a lad who stole one, crashed it outside the gates, and stole a second that he ploughed into the back of the first.
Safe to say he was in the shit the next morning...

Small German village roads and armored vehicles don't mix well....
