I have some of EG big smoke grenades - they work well. I just don't know how effective these "FB" really are. I mean that seems quieter than a suppressed AR. Would it scare or distract someone? Yes, probably but not the same as a real FB

Yeah, they seem to be more of a distraction or training device. In an airsoft context, I'd rather just roll a "frag grenade" into the room, to avoid any of the "You're stunned, you can't shoot back!", retorted with "Nuh uh!" Unless its some kind of hooky "hostage rescue" scenario.

Sounds real interesting. If it was really half the strength of a operational flash bang it would be plenty. But not sure the video convinced me of that

If they really are half as effective as a .gov flashbang I would love to buy some. Anyone have any experiences or know of some unbiased reviews?

is halfthe number in dB? because dB is logarithmic and not straight up, so 60dB is nothing like 120dB, but to those unaware SOUNDS like half power.
Pun intended.
