I know.. I know... we are a serious crowd here... Analysing this and that... But... here is some lighthearted reading why a Zombie Apocalypose would never occur even if there was such a thing as Zombies. Finally someone conducts an actual operational analysis of the problem (rather than blind "studies" spewing statistics ignoring the reality of the human predator) www.cracked.com/article_18683_7-scientific-reasons-zombie-outbreak-would-fail-quickly.html

Good read. Oddly, I'd welcome these zombies over the hungry ones we'd encounter if something was to go down.

This has been light heartedly discussed on the Zombie Squad forum (oh the irony). One thing that's massively forgotten about is the normalacy bias, that would be the greatest danger as no one accepts that these are zombies because we all know they don't exist, just watch what happens to the first NG unit that shoots a horde of zombies in the face (They're Hitler!). I think also in most zombie lore, animals have a natural fear of the zombies, not usually explained but most animals run from them. Also, headshots aren't as easy as movies make them out to be, especially when moving and under immense pressure as that zombie goes to chomb on poor Timmy...
Don't get me wrong, if I get to pick which ddisaster destroys the world, I'm picking zombies because it's the most survivable. But they aren't real, so....

Given the state of affairs, ask yourself seriously if something like that would be impossible...

Given the state of affairs, ask yourself seriously if something like that would be impossible... There is, apparently, some book series, where this happens towards the end of it.
