Looks good. Don't have as high a round count as others, but I've had zero problems with my PSA 16" mid-length. Are you gonna put a sling on the pistol?

Might be getting that red dot from PA soon, do you need the riser for the red dot?

I'm thinking hard about what "fun" thing to do with some of my refund this year. Considered getting a new upper for my AR that didn't have an A2 sight since that rifle now sports a 1-4x PA scope (the now spare upper would eventually be turned into a complete rifle), but then I considered getting an AR pistol instead since it wouldn't be that much more from PSA. How are you guys liking your AR pistols? My use would be as a trunk gun or as compact PDW for if I was assigned as the "medic" for my group. Edit: Another thought that comes to my mind, I have my first child on the way. Maybe it would be nice to have a smaller "carbine" that I could sling while carrying/running with a child should the absolute worst happen.

The tax man finally gave me my change back today. I went with the PSA 10.5" carbine gas keymod upper and the standard pistol lower, Magpul MBUS on the way from Primaryarms, already have a micro red dot to go on it. Now it's just the wait for it to get here. I went with the Keymod and MBUS front and back because I wanted to try something different, I've always had an A2 sight, had a quad rail on the M4 and MOE on 16".

Got her all set up. I went with a buffer tube cover instead of the shockwave brace because I wanted it more along "pistol" lines and didn't want to run the risk of shouldering it. Two malfunctions at the range (FTF), both with steel case Tula ammo, zero malfunctions with brass (American Eagle). For now the MFT Torch light is on the handguard, it will get replaced with a TLR3 or TLR1 when funds allow.

How are you liking the Shockwave? I'm thinking about making the switch from my buffer tube cover to the Shockwave. Do you need the tube specifically for the Shockwave or will a regular pistol tube work fine for it?

I really like it so far. It will work with any pistol buffer tube, but it works best with theirs. I switched to their tube and prefer it personally.
