Getting ready to pull the trigger on the Grey Ghost Gear Stealth Operator Pack (holy crap that's a mouthful). Anybody ever ordered from Grey Ghost Gear before? Wondering if I should get it straight from them or go through SKD. Reasons for picking this pack instead of the TT ROP: 1.Wife has her license, but tends to not carry when we're out and about (working on it), gives me a place to put her pistol in case of active shooter or whatever; this work better for me than pocket carrying her pistol while carrying mine IWB. 2.Allows me to carry four rifle magazines and basic essentials for use as a patrol pack. 3.I have a bad tendency to over pack and really have to limit my pack size. 4.Because I'm a tool and wanted to try something different. Will post a review and pics once I get it SKD: www.skdtac.com/Grey-Ghost-Gear-Stealth-Operator-Pack-p/ggr.101.htmGGG: www.greyghostgear.com/product-p/6009.htm

Got my bag in. Wanted at least a week with it before giving my impressions. The bag is compact, which is good for me since I have tendency to over pack, I really have to limit myself or I'll end up bringing everything I don't need. Front admin portion is adequate, slot for pens and a notebook; smaller zippered portion that goes behind the slots. Bad picture of holster compartment, sorry one hand was holding phone. It is not a quick draw solution, I'll use it as a place to carry the wife's pistol when at an outdoors event together, it does work well in that most would probably never know it's there. It's a bit of a squeeze with my SR22, I think something like an LC9 would be perfect. Inside of main compartment. Magazine pouches will fit two thirty round Pmags, zippered portion underneath the mag pouches for a little more organization. Standard water bladder storage in back of pack, comfortably holds 100oz bladder. There aren't the "slits" cut out above the straps where the tube comes out like on most packs, the bladder compartment is just an open top that is closed in the center with hook and loop. All in all, exactly what I was looking for in my patrol/EDC pack, enough room for essentials but not big enough to bring the kitchen sink. Forgot to take a picture of the straps, but they were comfortable going for a hike with four loaded magazines, full bladder, and some other stuff thrown in. Grey Ghost Gear was great to order from, shipped in a day or two, got my bag with no problems; no free stuff with it though, just a heads up to those who like to get the stickers and patches from companies. If anyone needs a different view of something, just let me know.

im guessing those mag pouches wont hold AK mags... They look like they only just hold AR mags given how little velcro is overlapped there...

I don't have an AK mag to test, but I'd imagine that ONE AK mag would in each pouch since it can hold two AR mags. How long is the AK mag? I'll take a measurement with the flap closed.
