2 questions (as I know you're in contact with the guys over @ 0241); 1) They're advertised as custom on the interweb. Do you know if you can get 'custom' variants? (IE.. I want rid of those pockets, can that be done?) 2) Solid colours? Maybe? Any idea? Nevermind. Wrote all this as video played. Would definitely like to see solid colours, including a navy blue for my part. (I don't like black) If not I'll spaff them an email. I love the price point and what it is. It's bloody simple.
One thought; Velcro dot for the top of your baseball hat and also stitched to your 'smock' (I am calling this a smock. It is, it just doesn't have pockets.) Will attach nicely and not fall back or forward annoyingly.

Would definitely like to see a coyote brown version, but $65 isn't a bad price at all for American made.

Very nice. Reminds me a lot of German WWII smocks.
Only things id change are the pockets. Have them open forward for better access. Maybe move one to the chest as a document/compass pocket.
Oh and cordura patches on the elbows.

German smocks had two verticle slits with a flap so you could access your undershirt and pockets. I'd like if they did that. Nonetheless, I will be ordering. Pencott GZ or desert tiger..... I'll sit here and stew for another week.

I'll sit here and stew for another week. I thought the exact same thing. But adding those slits would be a simple process for anyone with a bit of sewing ability. SO you can buy the base product, and modify as necessary.

On another thread, somewhere in here, I was discussing the fact, that in my ao, that full raingear is a necessity and that I was wanting to come up with an overtunic in camo to cover up the green raingear.
This may fit the bill.

Well I ordered the Desert Tiger stripe to check the sizing and because I just like the pattern, and will order a more appropriate pattern for my area if it all checks out.

Just placed a second order for 2 more, thats how much I like them. I usually wear large, but went with a medium due to them running a bit larger. Medium is perfect with plenty of extra room for easily fitting a few extra layers if needed under it (I have a 44inch chest, for anyone wondering about sizing). If anyone has any interest in up-close pictures of the stitching I'll post some.

Well, I hope everyone got them while they could. Because 0241 has decided to stop making them. Foolish decision I'm sad to say.

From what I gathered, they want to focus on other things since the TOPs are taking up alot of thier production? ( Majority of production = demand = $$$?)

production doesn't necessarily equal value for money on their part, mind you. man hours in is a lot of cost on stuff like shirts. profit margins and shit

I've talked with them about this, and I think they are making the right decision. There is a lot involved in making the decision to focus on other things.
