Depends; If the hearing protection stuff goes through and suppressors become cheap, it might be a moot point. It's a fantastic bit of engineering, especially if you are on a budget and you only want to pay the ONE tax stamp. No tax stamp, or you want to be able to suppress multiple firearms simultaneously for any reason? You're still going to want more than one. Also depends if you can get a 'better' (specifically, quieter for the given length, or same dB drop for a shorter length) for the same price etc. How they price it will weigh heavily influence how awesome it is, I reckon. That and the $200 stamp

That and the $200 stamp MSRP will be $1095. That price includes everything MAC showed except the 3 lug mount which will be optional.

Oh, I get that for what it is it's pretty damned awesome. But I look at $1000 and I see all the other things you could get Especially when it's $1200 after tax! That'd get me a nice bit of glass, first. I suppose it depends where you are with other firearms equipment as to how interesting this is as a product. I second PS with regards to Matt and JTT; Sometimes I have a little sulk when you HAVEN'T written anything because I'm bored and you find some cracking stuff!

The only problem I have with this suppressor is the length/weight. Compared to a dedicated can, it looks long and heavy. Granted, the trade-off is a "one can solution" to multiple platforms. I am interested, but need to compare the size/weight to my dedicated 5.56 and .308 cans to be sold.
