Watched on YouTube. Was wondering if this would work for the metal mags as well. I suspect that it would, but not owning any poly mags, was wondering if the polys tabs are made a bit different than the metal ones.

Pat. Sheep.
It should definitely work on the metal mags too.
Hawkeye,
Very good. I liked it and also added it to a playlist I have on my youtube channel. Thanks.

As said, yeah, works the same with metal mags. Any mag with a metal locking tab on the rear.

We have heard concerns that the unique aspects of the AK mag may cause added wear and tear on you rig. We are addressing this with a 2-pronged attack. First, we believe that "de-burring" your locking lugs slightly will make a big difference in the amount of wear and tear you put on a mag pouch. Secondly, we are experimenting with various materials to make sure the hard pointy things on your mags have something to rub on.
