yeah, he's advocating an expanded, more powerful police force, an increase in the beaurocracy to have permission to keep and bear arms. permissions arent rights. project exile is unconstitutional. law abiding citizen is a pet term for lickspittle. good luck.

his longtime friend, bill clinton, called and encouraged him to run for office. gave him pointers on just how to rally the GOP base in order to win the nomination. a few weeks later, he announced his candidacy, and ran on a platform of fear, protectionism, and military adventurism.
recently, as a new york businessman, he donated tens of thousands of dollars, over a couple years, to a few california liberals. they've recently authored and passed a slew of bullshit antigun legislation.
as a businessman, he's used the court system to steal people's property. think he's really going to nominate justices who are concerned with your rights? his cabinet picks are all establishment republicans and Goldman Sachs/big oil executives. nothing will change for the better. he'll expand the powers of the office, as his predecessors have.

“The Second Amendment to our Constitution is clear. The right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed upon. Period,” the position paper began. In order to protect and defend that right, Trump proposed tougher enforcement of laws that are already on the books..." yeah, reagan was awesome for gun rights, wasnt he?

It takes a bit of spin to read anything negative into that position paper at all.
"Enforce the existing laws" is very much tempered by the paragraph that talks about empowering people ot defend themsleves w/o fearing repercussion from gov't

People are protesting in Ybor city and elsewhere, been paying most of my attention to the Ybor city protests as they are closest to me. So far they've been pretty peaceful, but there has been invocations of Malcolm X with one girl even proudly proclaiming "sometimes violence is what it takes to solve things". Sadly I'm predicting that this is only gonna get worse, so much for being able to relax for a week... Like has been said already, keep stepping up your preps, be prepared to both bug in and bug out.

Remember, "love trumps hate." So lets burn a flag, smash a cop car, break some windows, and call Trump supporters racist KKK members! That'll show em!

I've told my friend that lives in South Tampa that he is welcome at my place in case things pop off, watching my Facebook explode right now with racist comments against people saying that they are okay with California leaving if that's what they choose...just loving the tolerance.

there's nothing to be proud of. this whole election cycle has been an embarrassment. a new york liberal is somehow a victory? And what would we be talking about if Hillary won? If they controlled the house and Senate and her new SC appointments? What we saw on Tuesday was the American people revolting via ballot box. Instead of the cartridge box. Look at the states that flipped. People were sick of the government we have had the last 12+ year's. Now we get to see the peace loving tolerable left lash out. They are not done fighting..and neither should we . Sorry that you do not care for trump..he won the primary..after that it was him or her. No other choices . Besides protest votes. Which lost Hillary a ton and the election. That new York liberal will probably be the best 2a president we have had....

he made himself a caricature of the worst of the GOP. it won him the primaries. his immigration, trade, and economic policies are more similar to bernie sanders' than to anything resembling the limited government supposedly enshrined in the constitution by the nation's founders.
anybody other than hillary would have soundly defeated him, instead of only by 208,000 votes or so. he won the electoral, she the popular. there was nobody in the GOP worthy of the office. or the Democratic party, for that matter. the libertarian party nominated a pair of republicans who'd have been better than either trump or clinton, and still terrible.
you can gloat all you want, while spending continues to spiral out of control, with bipartisan support, while liberties are further eroded, while the police state expands, while the american war machine continues to grow.
i'm glad hillary lost. too bad somebody had to win.

There have been generations of Leftist programing and meddling, and failure on the part of the supporters of Classical Liberalism to combat it. There are no effective voices for radically reducing and limiting the size and scope of the government in the US. The Republican Party is made up of the same type deep state power brokers the Democratic Party has been, but hasn't yet completely sold itself to Socialism. Its going to be incredibly difficult to get any politician, once in office, to reduce their own power, let alone rally other politicians to reduce theirs. Until the citizenry of the US is willing to look itself in the mirror as a whole, and take a view longer than the next day, if they even live in an area which hasn't been so badly declined per Progressive design, and realize giant, bloated government, is not good for anyone other than the elite. With the 3rd World being purposely imported in the US, for decades now, along with the traditional, Liberty-minded values of the US being denigrated as antiquated and even detrimental, the culture of the country as a whole is being changed, because there are people being brought in who know nothing of freedoms which at least notionally exist, in the US.
The US Constitution is formulated to prevent radical shifts in the government. You get the French Revolution, and all of the completely separate governments France has had to form, with all of the decline, rights-trampling, and guillotine-ing which was resultant. We're nearing a point of no return, with regards for having legitimate chances of turning the US away from becoming like the Western European states. Trump's election is an opportunity to get things moving toward a better direction. There is a chance, possibility, and hope, when there were none of those at all for Classical Liberalism, should Hillary have won. We can have a pity party about how Trump is an arrogant, pompous ass, who has a checkered past personally as well as politically, or we can apply the appropriate kind of pressure to him, to keep him on the straight and narrow while in office, and then do the same to any politician who isn't an open or closeted Socialist. As that is done, politicians who seek to hold office, will then see they need to have the values such an electorate would have, in order to even have a chance at earning a seat in office.
On the subject of the generations of programing and cultural disillusion occurring, I do believe there are some areas of the US, such as places which openly identify as "sanctuary cities", or currently have the temper tantrum riots going on, are likely right-offs, for now at least. Concerted efforts are going to have to take place, to go into these lions' dens, and show to the people who live in them, exactly how Leftism isn't helping them, and if anything, is purposely keeping them down and dependent upon handouts. Also, when the PC Police's SJW teams arrive, and began hysterically ranting about how anyone who does not recognize 90 whatever different genders exist(which don't), slander anyone who points out how unfettered migration damages the lower economic strata as a racist(which it isn't), and pushes the notion of all people being completely malleable and desirous of the same things in life, despite them originating from completely separate cultures, with completely separate values, as fill-in-the-blank-phobic(which is simply a desire to preserve one's own way of life), then Classical Liberals must combat those illogical and irrational statements at every turn.

You live in Oklahoma bro. Those of us who have in the southwestern US for three or more decades know better.
